Our Mission

How might we establish a Collaborative Innovation Program spanning the entirety of the Wealth & Investment Technology organization ( ~ 4,000 + employees)

How might we develop educational programming to empower future leaders of our business groups through exposure to entrepreneurial education, mentorship, and opportunities to develop those skills in a hands-on structured training programs.

How might we structure and deploy a distributed Innovation as Service model wherein a core team ensures the greater organization is enabled to run collaborative innovation challenges.

Innovation is deeply ingrained in our DNA and will be evident in everything we do in the next 5 years.  SS&C is a distributed company of many independent business units.  Each unit has its own culture, traditions and systems in place.

Listen & Adapt

We leveraged surveys, leadership interviews, and brainstorming sessions to understand the needs and pain points of our organization.

Planning

Planning is a big part of any successful program.  We spread out training, challenges, and the accelerator across the year.  This allows me to offer leadership opportunities to my team and juggle multiple projects.

Business Outcomes

The Innovation Program has grown from a grassroots volunteer project to a funded program.  We are currently looking into  scaling the program and create centers of innovation around industry topics (e.g. Wealth, Alternatives, Asset Management and Insurance) across the globe.

Several of our accelerator alumni have taken their ideas to market and now are in leadership positions.
